This is the perfect Rift Warrior Leveling Guide for anyone feeling as if they’re stuck in Rift, not knowing what to do as their class, or just looking for the best way to manage themselves playing their class. In this Rift Warrior Leveling guide we’ll discuss the best builds, rotations, and gameplay style for playing the Warrior class in rift.
Here are some Rift Warrior Leveling Tips
Rift Warrior Leveling Guide Tip #1 – Soul Selection
The first area we will cover in this Rift Warrior Leveling Guide is the souls you will be using. There’s a couple things you should note first, in Rift there are eight different souls you can choose from for each class, as well as four different roles you will be able to purchase. Each soul is a different talent tree and you can unlock each soul later on, you will be able to select three souls at a time.
As for the roles, they will allow you to switch out builds wherever you are in the game, so if you are getting bored of one spec and want to try something new, or want to switch from a PvE to a PvP build, this will allow for you to do that. So don’t feel discouraged if you think you’ll be tied down to this leveling build for the most part.
Now that we have all of that covered, lets start talking about the first Soul! In Rift Warrior Leveling you will want to choose Champion as your first and main soul, one huge factor that makes this soul so great for leveling is the Bull Rush ability, which is essentially a charge. This saves you a lot of time when going from enemy to enemy, especially since it has such a short cooldown.
After putting four points into Champion you will unlock Soldier’s Bearing which gives you a 5% damage buff, which is pretty self explanatory as to why you will want this. One talent I highly recommend is Take No Prisoners for the extra damage, as you can already see, the warrior class has a lot of damage buffing abilities and talents, and in this rift warrior leveling guide we’re going to take advantage of them.
The second soul you will chose is Riftblade, this is an extremely good soul for early leveling in rift as the abilities in the Riftblade tree will do high amounts of damage even if you don’t have good stats, which you won’t at a low level obviously. This does make riftblade sort of weak later on as the abilities will be doing lower damage since they aren’t effected much by stats.
Another thing to be noted for Riftblade is that it is primarily ranged, which allows you to do some high damage from a distance with Flame Spear and Fiery Burst, which in-fact do more damage than the Champion Soul’s Power Strike and Punishing Blow. Early on you will put 5/5 in Elemental Flux, 1/1 in Freeze Armor, and 3/3 in Rift Fury.
Your third and final soul is going to be Paragon, and actually, you’re going to respec and make Paragon your main soul. At level 18, this is the best rift warrior leveling soul to use, and it’s going to make everything a lot easier if you use this instead.
This is a good soul to use with Champion and Riftblade as it is sort of a mix of the two, once you’ve reached level 18 you gain access to some great ranged attacks such as Path of the Wind/Raptor/Tempest. This allows you to dish out massive amounts of damage at a low level, and from a ranged distance.
Rift Warrior Leveling Guide Tip #2 – Playstyle
Also, you’re given some great melee attacks as well, in-fact, they’re actually even better. You’re able to use Dual Strike, followed by Rising Waterfall, followed by another Dual Strike, and finish it off with a 3-point Strike Like Iron to finish off your enemy very quickly.
In rift warrior leveling, if you follow this guide you’ll be able even easily take on elite enemies using a rotation such as Dual Strike -> Rising Waterfall -> Dual Strike -> Strike Like Iron -> Rising Waterfall -> Dual Strike -> Rising Waterfall -> Shifting Blades.
When engaging combat with normal enemies you’ll want to alternate between Predictable Movements and Bend Like the Reed, you will take little damage as well as hitting very hard. The warrior class definitely is one of the strongest, easiest, and most fun classes to level, and when using this rift warrior leveling guide it makes it all even better.
Rift Warrior Leveling Guide Tip #3 – Talent Point Allocation
If you’ve followed this rift warrior leveling guide and are at least level 18 then you’re ready to take a look at the talents you SHOULD be using and the ones that you will be wanting to use more down the line. First, we’ll take a look at your main soul Paragon, make sure that you are taking these talents with a higher priority then every other talent in both of your other souls.
Your first tier you will want 5/5 Duality of Mind, your second tier will be 5/5 Teaching of the Five Rings, 3/3 Double Jeopardy, and 1/1 Predictable Movements. Third tier goes 1/1 Wrist Strike, and 3/3 Grace of the Five Rings. Once you’ve reached the fourth tier you will simply take every single talent you can in the Paragon tree, excluding only Run Like the Wind.
For the Champion tree you will want to take your first four “excess points” meaning the points you can’t put into paragon and put them into 4/5 Take No Prisoners in the first tier. This is mainly to unlock Slayer’s Bearing which is great for leveling, other then that we can leave the Champion tree alone and look at the Riftblade Tree.
The first tier of Riftblade will be 5/5 Elemental Deflection, second tier is 1/1 Freeze Armor, 3/3 Rift Fury, and 1/2 Surging Energy. Third tier is 5/5 Static Shock, and 1/1 Earth Burst. Your fourth tier is 3/3 Elemental Touch, and 1/1 Rift surge. Your fifth and final tier you will put points into the riftblade soul is 1/1 Riftwalk, and 2/2 Elemental Blade.
And there you have it, we’ve covered the souls you should be using and the levels you should be using them at, as well as the playstyle of your rift warrior, and also where you will be putting your talent points. If you’ve followed this rift warrior leveling guide completely and continue to do so you will have no problem reaching level 50 at an extremely quick rate, be sure to check out our other rift guides to capitalize on your gameplay to the fullest extent.
